Gabriel Metcalf, president and chief executive of US-based nonprofit urban think tank SPUR, is set to join Committee for Sydney by the end of the year.
Mr Metcalf will become the chief executive officer of Sydney’s city planning group.
He has reportedly been an advocate for public transport to solve congestion issues in San Francisco and building more housing to “create a more equitable Bay Area.”
