For a company’s greenhouse gas emission reduction targets to qualify as “science based” they must fit with the science of climate change and the commitment to keep global warming to below two degrees Celsius.
The property group has committed to reduce its scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50 per cent per square metre, and its scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 25 per cent per square metre, by 2028.
