In brief: Melbourne-based energy retailer Flow Power has entered into a 10-year large-scale renewable power purchase agreement (PPA) with dairy ingredient processor Burra Foods.
The power, sourced from Ararat Wind Farm, is expected to cut energy costs by 20 per cent.
“Partnering with Flow Power and sourcing a steady supply of clean, renewable energy is a major step toward our facility being powered by 100 percent renewable energy,” Burra Foods general manager supply chain and manufacturing Stewart Carson said.
