In brief: Infrastructure consultancy pitt&sherry has announced it is merging with environmental consultancy KMH Environmental, in a move pitt&sherry says will strengthen capabilities in NSW, while providing expanded services nationwide.

KMH will co-brand under the pitt&sherry name to become part of the pitt&sherry group, and all staff will continue on.

โ€œThis is an exciting phase for us, with many benefits for both parties, particularly in terms of specialist capability and geographic distribution,โ€ pitt&sherry chief executive Dan Oโ€™Toole said.

โ€œEach entity brings complementary disciplines to the arrangement. Most importantly, the synergies brought about by the merger will be a positive experience for our clients.โ€

KMH Environmental managing director Ken Holmes will join the pitt&sherry leadership team as group executive NSW.

โ€œThe merger with pitt&sherry will bring significant benefits to KMHโ€™s team and our clients,โ€ Mr Holmes said.

โ€œThe combined operations of KMH and pitt&sherry will allow us to provide high-quality environmental approvals and engineering design services to Australiaโ€™s major infrastructure construction sector.โ€
